Back to Where It All Began: A Return to Croatia and What’s Ahead for Year Five

In 2021, we invited 36 friends to join us aboard a private yacht in Croatia. There was no brand yet. No logo. Just an idea, a spark, and two world travelers who loved nothing more than curating meaningful experiences and helping others see the world in a way that felt personal and unforgettable.

That trip was supposed to be a soft launch. But something happened. The energy, the connection, the joy — it confirmed what we already knew in our hearts. This wasn’t just something we loved doing. It was something we were meant to build.

That trip became the launch of the Chronic Explorers.

Fast forward to today, and we’ve created travel experiences for more than 260 travelers around the world. What started with a single voyage has grown into a global travel community. From small group journeys and milestone celebrations to solo adventures and friend's trips, we’ve been honored to help so many travelers turn moments into memories.

A Return to Croatia

Recently, we returned to Croatia with a group of travelers who have become part of the fabric of what we do. It wasn’t just a nostalgic trip for the two of us. It was a shared celebration, sailing through familiar harbors with new and returning clients, reliving the magic of that first journey while also seeing how far we’ve come.

We soaked up the stunning Adriatic coast, toasted to what we’ve built, and looked ahead to everything that’s still to come.

It reminded us why we started. We weren’t looking to build a business. We were just two people who loved planning unforgettable adventures and wanted to share the world with others.

Turns out, a lot of people wanted that too.

What Inspired This Journey

Doran and I have always been explorers. Over the years, we found ourselves helping friends plan trips, design celebrations, and discover places they never would have thought to visit on their own. What we loved most was the moment someone realized they had just experienced something that would stay with them forever.

That’s what the Chronic Explorers is all about. Creating unforgettable journeys that feel authentic, intentional, and a little bit magical.

2026: The Five-Year Celebration
